TWO KILLED IN FALLS OFF MOVING LORRIES

WELLINGTON, April 27. Falls from motor lorries resulted in two deaths at the wreek-end. -The aecid'ents were not related. CjTil Pierpont Brimble, .aged 48, ot Churton Orescent, Taita, died in. the Hutt Hospital today. The other victim, Edward Frank Law, aged 11, of Wainui Road, Lower Hutt, died - on his way to hospital at 11.30 a.m. Saturday. Brimble. wras f ound uneonscious at the corner of White's Line West and Ox ford Terrace, Lower Hutt, at 6.30 p.m. on Saturday. He was on his way home riding alone on the tray of a truck, when he apparently fell when the vehicle was' roundiiig a corner. The, driver was unaware of the mishap. Brimble was a former Ganterbury re presentative Rugby league player, and also -played for the Newton club, Auckland. He was married with one child. The boy Law was a passCnger on the tray of a 'lorry going south along Waiwhetu Road, his father and another person also being on the tray. As the truck turued from Waiwhetu Road into Porutu Strect, the boy, who was etanding, overbalanced and fell on to the road,, reeeiving fatal injuries.
