With the opening of a branch of the Irene Oliver Dance Studios, of Palmerston North, next Monday, Levin and district residents will have at their disposal facilities c'njoyed by the larger towns.' The classes will be under. the personal .supervision of Miss Irene Oliver, who is" no stranger to Levin, her pupils having travelled to Levin iast year and contributed in no , small measure to the success of the Levin * Combined Amateur v Athletic. and Cycling Club's ball, while Miss . Oliver again came to Levin to judge the Horowhenua waltzing championship this year at a marching association function. The children's classes will comprise fancy dancing, including classical ballet, skipping, character and tap, while there will also be an adults' tap class. Ballroom dancing, both modern and oldtime, will also be taught, these classes being at night. Further particulars are to be found in the advertising columns and the price of tuition is quite reasonable. Pupils of Miss Oliver have attained a very high standard in competitions throughout New Zealand, and the same opportunity is now extended to Levin and district.
