Incident ut Rugby Match
An incident the likq of which is strongly deprecated ' in rugby circles occurred at the conclusion of the Athletie-Wanderers game at Levin on Saturday,^ when a spectator approached the referee as he left the field and in no uncertain terms criticised the manner in which he had carried out his task. Spectators and club supporters who are dissatisfied with the work of referees have a constitutional method of airing their grievances, and that is by a complaint to the Horowhenua Rugby Union or Referees' Association. It is understood tljat in this case both the teams were satisfied With the referee's 'control of what was a hard and fast game.
