Howe during a recent inspection of the Home Fleet at Portsmouth. The War Office announced today that His Majesty the King had given orders for the appointment of the Princess as Colonel-in-Chief of tbe Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders and also as Colonel-in-Chief of the 65th Lancers.
