Received Mondav, 12.45 p.m. ' COPENHAGEN, April 20. King Christian of Denmark, who tiad been unconcious sirice 3.30 a.m. (G.M.T.) on April 20„ died at 10.4 p.m. (G.M.T.) . . ' In accordance with the Danish sonstitutiOn, the 48-year-old Crown Prince Frederik autoinaticaily became King on his father's death, under the name and title of King Frederik The Ninth. King Christian, who was over 76 inches tall,.was sometimes "described as the "biggest Kihg of the smallest Kingdom." He was probably the only "Monarch who had done sentry duty outside his own Pa'lace, when, as Crown Prince, he chose to do his. military training in the ranks. , Earlier cables reported - King. Christian's iapse into mnconsciousness and said that his strength was rapidly declining. All the family had gathered at his bedside.
