FAMILY FORCED TO EVACUATE HOMESTEAD
GISBORNE, April 21. Heavy rain and a creeping slip have forced the evacuation of a homestead by- Mr. H. P. Barron in the Uawa country. The house has been moved several feet into a dangerous position on steep ground overlooking a creek. The occupants moved out, together with their furniture, in heavy' rain, In view of the possi'oility of the loss of the residence, the owner is faced with the prospect of .having to. dismantle and remove the house immediately if the weather does not break.
