TROOPS SUBDUE FIRES THAT RIOTERS STARTED
Received Friday, 10.15 a.m. PESHAWAR, April 17. Military reinforcements have reached Dera Ismail Khan, the north-west frontier town where communal rioti'ng- brclke'.-.out on April 15. They ha-ve imposed a 24hour curfew and subdued' the fires which the rioters began. Two persons were killed in Tanka, a town 150 miles southwest of Peshawar. Shops were iooted and set on fire.
