Received Thursday, 10.10 a.m. LONDON, April 16. Joe Baksi will not meet Joe Louis this year. It is learned that Baksi, despite approaches from Nat Rodgers, matchmaker for Mike Jacobs, intends to carry out a European tour, including a visit to the land of his birth, Czechoslovakia, and the possibility of his meeting Louis soon is definitely ruled out; In San Diego today Joe Louis announeed that unless a title fight was arranged for him this summer he was prepared to announce his retirement from the ring.
