EXPLOSION IN FRENCH NAVAL TRAINING GROUND

Received Wednesday, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, April 15. A violent expiosion in the training grounds near Lorient killed four naval ofticers and injured several other persons, including Admiral Barthes, maritime preiect for the Lorient area, says the British United Press' Lorient correspondent. The expiosion is reported to have been caused by the detonation of a percussion cap setting off nearby ammunition.
