DETROIT, April 8. As floods liad disa.bled the lighting svstem, the world 's wealthicst rnan, Mr. Henry Eord, died in'a rooui lit only by eandles and kerosene lamps. Mr. Henry Eord II, the president of the Eord Motor Goy., announced that all the company's operations throughout the world would be suspended on Thursday and iflags would be flowu at half-mast on all Eord properties.

Alr. Eord's legatees are his widow, his daughter-in-law (Mrs. Edsel Fora ;, and four grandchildren, Henry, Benson, William and Josepliine.
