Mr. J. J. Maher, M.P., will be visiting Leviii tonight p.'nd wlU briefly address members of the Levin .branch of the National Pqrty at their annuol rneeting. Dr. T. H. Piillar, pathologist at the Palmerstqp, North Hospital, left New Zealand on Thursday for Engla'nd, where he is to undertake post-graduate studies. Lord Bledisloe and Lady Bledisloe, who have been guests at Gqyernment House, Auckland, left yesterday for Christchurch U! the eourse of their tour of the Dominion. They had spent 'nine days in Auckland. • Mr. D. Hay, who has been stqtionmaster at Leyin for the past seven years, has been transferred on promotion to Wellington as officer in charge of the putward goods department, His successor ' at Levin will be Mr. J. H. Norman, of Stratford. Mr. Hay has already taken up his new duties and until Mr. Norman arrives Mr. W. T. Dick, a, relieving officer, is acting stationmaster.
