Magnusson (Wellington), by 41 points, though Magnusson has still one round (two games) unlinished. Close on the heels of Magnusson are C. Johnstone (Palmerston North) 1(5 and P. Prince (Wanganui) 154 points. Magnusson 's outstanding games are with Johnstone so that the deferred result has a close bearing on the second position. Other points to the end of the 11th round are: T. Gillhooley (Dannevirke) 15,' F. Graham (Dannevirke) 134, R. Eamsay (Palmerston North) 11, Shaw (Hutt) and H. ' Carey (Palmerston North) each 9, McG. Smjth (Wellington) 84, G. Anderson (Wellington) 8, J. Anderson (Palmerston North) 7, J. Burke (Hutt) 61, A. Alexander (Hutt) 6, D. McPherson (Wellington) 54, W. Main (Wellington) 5. The tournament will be completed tomorrow '^vening.
