Large Sum Stolen

About £300 in notes and silver was stolen from a sffiall safe which was removed from the premises of Dominion Wines, Ltd., Karangahape Road, Auckland, on Saturday night. Motor-CycUst Injured When returning from Masterton to his home in Levin, a young motor-cyclist was injured as a result of his machine colliding with a car on Haywards Road on Sunday. He was: Ernest Henry Nor= ton, cabinetmaker, aged 19, Of Montgomery Street, Levin. The Injured man was taken to the Hutt ■Hospital suffering from injuries to his head and feot. His condition was reported today as not serious, but it is understood that an operation to one of his feet will be necessary.
