STREET DAY TO BE HELD With a view to raising money for the purchase of goods to send food parcels to families of returned servicemen in Broughton, Salford, England, a town recently adopted by the R.S.A. in Levin, the association will be conducting a street day on Friday, June 6.. Meanwhiie; every endeavour. is being made to .raise funds by- public subscription.Anyone wishing to donate goods or money can do so by calling at the R.S.A. Rooms in Oxford Screet on Fridays between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Donations will also be accepted by, Mr. J. Corbishley at the office of Messrs. Burdekin and Walker. The following donations already received are gratefully acknowledged: Rich Cakes, Ltd., £5; T. J. Coutie, a guarantee of a parcel a month.
