Local Interest Will Centre In Feilding and Wairarapa
(SPECIAL— FROM L.M.M.), WELLINGTON, This Day. Easter holiday racing will commence on Saturday and, with the ; exception of Auckland and Riverton, will conclude on Monday. Riverton and Auckland have three days concluding on Tuesday, while the C.J.C. fixture, which opens on Monday, will continue on Tuesday and conclude on the following Saturday. Main interest on Saturday will centre in the Contest for the Easter Handicap at Ellerslie, in which those good milers, Sleepy Fox and Exeter clash at a diff erence of 11b. The field is a^ large one and i/ open to a surprise. c>- • Horowhenua sports will have Feilding and the Wairarapa fixtures to hold their interest and patronage on Saturday and Monday.. The fields at both these meetings are good. The Easter Handicap at Wairarapa should give Royal Victor a chance of regaining the winning list, while at Feilding the distance of the Cup will f avour Arco, who is now racing at top. Prospects for Auckland, Wairarapa, Feilding, Riverton, Rotorua and the concluding day of the Metropolitan Trotting Club's fixture at Addington on Saturday are as follows:
