R.S.A., advising that the local branch had been allocated a town in Fife, Scotland, to which food parcels were to be sent. Train Position Serious With the present cut in railway transport the rail service from Shannon will be very seriously affected. The only passenger trains running which will stop at Shannon, are the Napier express to Wellington, which arrives at Shannon at 1.43 p.m. on Mqndays and Fridays, and the Gisborne express, which arrives at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, for Wellington. There will be no up trains ayailable.
