NO SIGN OF MISSING NEW ZEALAND MOSQUITO

Four of the seven personnel of the Dutch Xavv Dakota which crash landed in the No.rthern Territory on Tuesday are attenipting the dangerous trek to Katherine over some of the rough est country in Australia. They set olf on foot Tollowing the river through dangerous crocodile country. 'This was learned tpday when a Fox Motli plane flew over the wreck of the Dakota and read message strips, According' to the latest report there is no possibility of pianes Janding in the viejnity and the pack train which left Katherine yesterday may takc three days to reach the Dakota, R.A,A.F. pianes irom Darwin; Longreach, Townsville and Brisbane are now conccntrating on tlie search for tlu New Zealand Mosqujto piloted by Wing-Commander R. Iloare, D.B.fi. and Bar, D.F.G. and Bar, with FlyingOiijcer J. Golvins, of London, as navi gator, which has been missing between Dalwin and To vvirsville since last Wedncsday. Mrs. Iloare, form'erly Miss N. Watson, of Harrogate, England, has arrived in Wydiiey from London by flying boat. During the fljglit she learned that her husliand was missing, and kept a fruitless loolc-out all the way across Australia. Mrs. Hoare was flying to New Zealand to join her hu'sband, but will now stay in Sydney with friends.
