Following a lengthy discussion on the matter, a motion by Mr. Bowling met with the approval of the meeting. Mr. Bowling's suggestion was that each team comprise six ladies and six men, but if a club was unable to field six lady players a man substitute could play in a lady's position, provided that, the man was not of a higner position than. 9th in the case of "A" grade matches or 13th in "B" grade games on the championship ladder of the club of which the player is a member.
