SYDNEY, March 28. In the first proseeution of its ldnd for 20 years Francis ,Booth, master of the motorship Yunnan, was today fined £1400 in a special Federal Court. His offCncc was that he brought into tlm port of Sydney 14 stowawayS who were prohibited immigrants. The prescribed penalt.y is £100 per stowaway. The prohibited immigrants were Chinese who had hiddon in the boats by night and mixed with the erew by day.
