COLOUR BAR IN BOXING
Received Thursdav, 7 p.m. LONDON, March 26. Mr. A. CTeeeh .Tones told a questioner in tlie Iiouse of Gommons that there was little hope that the British Boxing Board of Control would be prepared to change its policy of excluding coloured boxers from contesting British titles. The board declared that coloured boxers could com]iete fof Bmpire titles which should satisfv their aspitations. "1 regatd llre colour bar as cjuite un.•justifiecl. I hope the board may be persuaded to alter the practice. Further reprpsenfations will be made to the board/' he said.
