APPRECIATION DANCE
The two local bands and the Horowhenua Marching Associatibn will again entertai'n tomorrow night, when -a gfand appreciation dance will be cOnducted ih the Regeht Ballroom in afd of the Levin Municipal Band. Earlier In the year the association was :able to hand over £20 to the Horowhenua Pipe Band, the proceeds !of &, similar function, and it is the associatioh's desire to d© likewise for the Municipal Band ih recoghition of its work during the march - ng season.. All preparatons are complete ,for an enj'oyable evening's ehtertainment. Prior to the dance the pipe band Will play through the town, and then for the openihg dance. The 'Municipal Band will also play for two dances during th'e evening. The mystery prizes are outstanding, while the other nov•elty danc'es will also carty the usual -good reVard. The Usual saVoury supper will be dispehsed by the ladies' committee, "and the association is all prepared for a record number of dancers.
