GLORIES OF THE AGE TO COME We learn from the Scriptures that the next age will be mar^ed by the absence of almost all that characterises thc present evil world. There will be no war. It yi.ll cease with the disappearance of national quarrels, social and political strifes and party animosities, together with all stahding armies, fortresses, and engines of ostruction. All the aggressive and earnal weapons of warfare will then be destroyed or turned to better and profitable account in the peaceable dcpartments of husbandry, etc. Isa. 2: 1-4. Micah. 4: 1-4.
