The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board advises that the ewe .schedule in the North Island. will be increased by l-8d per 1b. as from Monday, March 24. The increase is accounted for by the increased wool growth. The Levin braneh of the Red Cross Society will hold a gafden party in Mrs. "Mackenzie's grounds next Tuesday at 2 p.m. The stalls will be well laden with vegetables, plants, jams and other saleable rrticles,- and donations are solicitsd from members and friends.
