CUP FOR SPEEDBOAT RACING

WELLINGTON, March 20. A gold cup valucd at 100 guineas has been given by Mr. S. W. Moult, of Wellington, for a. Dominion-wide competition for the attainment of the high est speed 011 water. Mr. Moult said the Masport Oup would still be raced for,' but his cup would be open for competition among all speedboats and tha. would cnable supercharged or even jetpropelled boats to compete for it. It has been sugsrested that a new orgai i.sation be formed with headquarters at P itone to control the competition for the 'Moult trophy which will be known ' 11s Ihe supor wai orspcod motor and 'will ,
bear his initials. Mr. Moult added that while he was now H0 he was not y'el finished with speedboat racing.
