MANAWATU CHAMPIONSHIP® AT LEVIN v Arpangempnts are now eomplete fof tbe Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association's champianship toupiament for the southern area efubs, co take place pn the Leyin and Weraroa Tennis Clubs' cpqrts this weekend. The tournament has attracted spjendid entrjes, and -very mteresting play should be witnessed. Players are asked to note yhe order of piay, whjch has been designed to obviate as far as Jpossibje players waiting for their games. ■ On Baturday at the Levin Club the following events will.be played: Men's chanjpionship singles, handicap singles and -handieap doubles. At the Weraroa Club'o counts the following wiU be played: Ladies' ^hampionship singles, handieap singles and handieap doubles. On Sunday morning mixed handieap doubles will be played at both courts, the following players co play at Weraroa: — Royal and Mrs. McLeavey v. Watts and Miss Karauti, M. R. Bmith and partner y. Wjlliams and Mrs. Wiliiams, Douds and Miss Aikman v. patt and Mrs. Higgott, White and Mrs. Brand V; Fraser and Miss Forbes. The remaihing players are to play ffieir games at Levin. It is hpped uO play the finals at the Levin Club's courts on Sunday afternoon. Attention of players to the detaiis ibove will macerially assist in the smooth running of the touimament. Morning and afternoon tea will be available at both clubs, and players are .urged to be ready to plgy at 9 a.m. on both days. The draw is as foilows: — Women's championship singles: Mrs. Bell v.
