KOPUTAROA'S MARCH MEETING The monthly meeting of the Koputaroa Women's Ihstitute was held recently, Mrs. Koberstein presiding. A presentation was made to Miss Fitzgerald, a mernber who Is shortly to be married, while the tumai gift was presented to Mrs. Baker's new baby. The competitions for the month resulted as follows:— Seniors: Miss Fitzgerald 1, Mrs. Sanson 2. Juniors: Joan McLaughlin 1, Joyce McLaughlin 2. Best bloom. — Seniors: Mrs. Netten. Juniors: Joyce McLaughlin. Best shrub: Mrs. Netten. Being the annual meeting also, the report and balance sheet were read and adopted and a vote of .hanks passed to those who had helped to make the past year such a suecessful one. The points prizes for the year were presented as follows. — Seniors: Mrs. Chapman 1, Mesdames Sanson and Gaspard 2 (equal), Mrs. Netten 3. Juniors: Joyce McLaughlin 1, Joan McLaughlin 2, Audrey Storey 3. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted. as follows. — PresidentU.Mrs. "Kbberstein; -committee: Mesdames Lancaster, Guy, Sanson, Hurliman, Addinell, Thompson and Netten and Miss; Fitzgerald. Floral sprays were presented to Mrs. Koberstein and Mrs. Chapman, the retiring secretary. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the retiring committee.
