After disposing of Eddie Marcus in 80 seconds 'with a straight left to the jaw, the Australian lightweight boxing champion, Vic Patriclt, said he wanteo to contest the world cliampionship. He asked for a concrete promise that Stadiums Limited would match him in a bout for the title. If they were not able to arrange that, he was prepared to go with his wife tb America. Patrick said he believed his form was as good as ever, but that fights were few and far between.
