...When the last mail left Hollywood the Robert Taylors hsd left for Europe, and will be in London by now. They are to be followed shortly by the Dick Powells, Dorothy Lamour and her husband, Orson Welles and his wife, Rita Hayworth, Linda Darnell and husband Peverell Marley, who have announced their reconciliation, hope to visit London late' this year. Robert Taylor and wife Barbara Stanwyck ' are on a pure pleasure
trip of two months' ' duration. Before leaving Bob said that the last time he went to Europe in 1938, he found girl-fans under his bunk on the train. This time Barbara will take care of that! " The Dick Powells and Dotty Lamour (Mrs. William Howard) are going on holidays, too. For the Orson Welles (they sail this month) it's a business trip; Orson is going to work for British film producer, Alexander Korda. ^ * Linda Darnell and her husband •plan to make their " London- Paris visit into a second honeymoon. First, however, Linda has to finish "Forever Amber" for Fox. To undertake the trip Fox has granted Linda three months' leave.-
