PHYLLIS CALVERT'S BIG CONTRACT
Phyllis Calvert, British stage and scrcen actress, who reached the top runa of the movie world with her work in "Madonna of the Seven Moons," has signed a big contract with Paramount Pictures in Hollywood to make six pictures The tcrms are said to be the highest oiven to any British actress. ° Miss Calvert has commenced on her first film to Paramount. Yolanda Folde's new novel, "Make You a Fine Wife." Under the contract Miss Calvert must make three pictures from the studio in the first two years and one a year for the succeeding three ^;ars.
