SLEEPY FOX, GREAT COON AND ARMONT IN STAR GALLOPS

WELLIN GrTON, Mar. 13. The course proper and plough tracks were available for the fast work at Trentham this morning and provided iirm and fast going. ELighlights of the morning were a brilliant half-niile by Sleepy Fox and an impressive seven furlongs by Great Coon and Armont. On the course proper Niloch was hard held to stay with Flying Dinlt over. haj f a mile in 48 4-5sec., and the' foimer was again impressive. Majesty was on ternls with Ella Shields over six furlongs in 1.20, the last half-mile in 52sec., but Majesty . was travelling easily. 1 Matador was elear of Opulent over iive furlongs, the last half-niile in 48 3-5see., which tvas a good effort on the part of Matador. Kartikeya was under restraint to cover lxalf a mile in 4S 3-5sec., and Clive Belle was shading The Saddler over a similar journey in 51 l-5sec. .. Salut d'Amour pleased more than Flahuluk over seven furlongs in 1.34 1-5. Sakuntala and Blue Moon botli had plenty in reserve to traverse five furlongs in 1.5, and Pola was not asked :f,or his best to cover the last half-mile of his work in 56see. Perfect Peace 'impressed more than Flare Path over five furlongs "in 1.4 1-5. Sleepy Fox was going effortlessly al the completion of lialf a ' mile in 40 2-5sec,, which was the best ot the morii- , ing. Sleepy Fox is a mass of condition. Ivarachi had the edge on Treasurc ^ Tee at the end of five furlongs, the last half-iuilc in 48 3-5sec. Baby Girl- rau half a mile in 50 2-5sec., while Chil rai and Adair were on terms over a similar journey in 48 3-5sec. Sweet Nyrnph accounted for Tara ; Hall over half a mile in 48 4-5sec., and Gay Stroller strode over six furlohgs in 1.18 1-5. .
