Kartikeya was under restraint to cover lxalf a mile in 4S 3-5sec., and Clive Belle was shading The Saddler over a similar journey in 51 l-5sec. .. Salut d'Amour pleased more than Flahuluk over seven furlongs in 1.34 1-5. Sakuntala and Blue Moon botli had plenty in reserve to traverse five furlongs in 1.5, and Pola was not asked :f,or his best to cover the last half-mile of his work in 56see.
