The conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce at Rapier, realfirnied the urgent necessity 01 the Government formulating and augmenting plans to assist suitable immigrants — particufarly young people and their families in order, to balance the rapidly ageing tendency.of the population — to settle in New Zealand as soon as possible.
