By day a brilliant recogmsed exponent of the latest developments in the treatment of nervoiis and mentai diseases, by night a nightclub habitue, drug addict and supplier of narcotics to women in Chelsea — that, says the Daily Mail, was the story behind the death of Dr. William de Barque Hubert, Harley Street psy chiatrist. Dr. Hubert 's researches into schizophrenia made him famous and earned him a £5000 yearly practice, but he died because he, himself, had a split mind. A pathologist at the inquest said there was no evidence of natural disease and the inquest has been adjourned for an analyst's report. The police are now trying to track down channels through which Dr. Hubert distributed drugs wholesale to Chelsea addiets.
