In the recent pipe band-contest held at Wanganui it WaS reported ffiat Drum Major E. Musgrove, aged 21 years, won the staff swing contest. Actually Drum Major Musgrove is 18 years of age and is still attending st. Andrew's College, Christchurch. Power Cuts Tomorrow As a result of the serious power situation, complete shutdoWns will operate throughout the Horowhenua Power Board's district as •from tomorrow. It is proposed to; make cut-offs of twenty minutes duration at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily, though they may be shorter depending on the pbsitioxv at the time. . '
