The best efforts were eredited to Indian Dawn, Niloch, Blue Moon and General Victory. On the course proper, Majesty covered seven furlougs iu 1.36, tlie iirst three iu 39 4-5sec. He was juuder a good hold throughout aud has' thrived since'his arrival. . Desert Fox traversed the last seven furlongs of a mile in 1.35 and was travelling comfortably. Matador comp^eted the last half- mile of his work iu oOsec. aud did it well, while Niloch proved too speedy for Lady Christine and Adair over live furlongs in 1.3 1-5.'- Niloch 'was iwpressive, but Lady Christine is showing signs of soreness and did not, hit out t'reely. • ... Blue Moojl was always clear ofSTight Foe and Sakuntala throughout a niie in 1.47 1-5, the last half iu G3 losec. Night Fo§. could have done bet,er, but Wakuntala was disappoiutiug. Keeuiug was ,six lengths clear of Jmaio and Master Peter at the eud of ieveu furlongs iu 1.33. General Victory impressed by easily iccounting- for Tara llail and 'Desert Jliant over half a mile in 49sec. G,euarai Victory is a very lit youugster. Bheilwyu agaiu pleased by liuishing well to shade Irou Duke at the com[jletion of half a mile iu 50 3-5sec. Flying Dink sprinted three furlongs lil 37 l-5sec. und Vakura, under restraiut, cojnpleted half a mile iu 54 3-5sec. Ou the plough, Sea Fury liad the edge on Master Robiu over three furlougs iu 35 4-5sec. Bruce and Montosorrie worked over seven furlongs, but did not have mucli specd ou. Bruce looks a picture and is a deiinite starter in the Autiunu Handicap. Colopier shaded Lady Scholar over three furlougs in 35sec. j Howe was allotted steadv work but ' was very tied up although he will probably coutest tlie St. Leger.
