NAVY ESTIMATES DROP
Received Thursday, 10.35 a.m. * LONDON, March 5. The Navy estimates- for 1947-48 total £197,000,000, compared with £255,000,000 in 1946-47. The estimated maximum number of officers, seamen, boys and Royal Marines for 1947-48 is 191.000, which is a dtcrease of 299,000.
