NO MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE
Received Thursday, 11 a.m. LONDON, March 5. The Secretary of Colonies, Mr. Crech Jones, in the House of Commons briefly announced that the Governor of the Gold Coast, Sir Alan Burns, had postponed the executions of the five natives convicted of ritualistic murder. He added that it was not the custom for a Colonial Secretary to intervene unless it was neeessary to prevent a miscarriage. "I am convinced there" has been no miscarriage of justice."
