GOVERNOR REPORTED TO HAVE RESIGNED
LONDON, March 4. The execution of the five West Africans was postponed after the Gold Coast Governor, Sir Alan Burns, received a telegram from Mr. Crech- Jones. It is believed chat he replied that there would be a danger to law and order if the sentences were not carried out. According to an Evening News report, Sir Alan has submitted his resignation.
