Rumours which started during the weekend that Bernborough has morq thap. oue i'oal in Queensland, have been taken up by the Sydney press with varying degrees of caation. The orig: inal report claimed that Jack Bach, of Dalby, Queensland, stated the Bernborough had f our foals in Au^tralia. Bach,- who boughfc/ Bernborough as a foal with his dam Bcrn Mhid, for 14U gulneaa, was qqoted as saying he had a two year old-colt by Bernborough from Miss Shirley and that there were three other foals, the whereabouts of two of which he meutioned. . The first paper to pubjish the story quoted Mr. Bach as saying the foals were cortceived when Bernborough was taken from "the other fellow's stable and kept for ten days ' '.
