, The Misses Taylor are at present spending a hoiiday in the South Island. Mr. Frank Penn, who has been 1 on a short visit to Otaki for the Methodist jubilee celebrations,, returned to Auckland yesterday. Two two well-known South I Island trapeze arti^ts, Misses R.j Miles, and G. Steel, are at present the guests of Mr. and Mrs.. Major Seal.
Rev. Moses Ayrton, who at one time was stationed in Otaki- and who has been taking part in the Methodist jubilee celebrations returned to Wellington yesterday. The infant daughter of'Mr. and Mrs. L. Goodwm. of Tasman Beach, who unfortunately swullowed a tack and was taken to the Palmerston North Hospital is reported to be on the road to recovery. Rev. W. G. Slade, M.A., who was recently inducted into tne position of president of the Methodist Conference of New Zealand, was a visi,cor to Otaki during the weekend to participate in the local church's diamond jubilee celebrations. Mr. Slade was at one time minister.in charge of the Otaki church and later was minister at Levin.
