STOCK EXCHANGE'S PROTEST AT TAX INCREASE
* Received Tuesday, 11.15 a.m. CALCUTTA, March 3. The secretary of the Calcutta Stock Exchange said the exchange was closing until further notice as a protest against the imposition of the tax of 25 per cent on business profits, and the, increased supertax announced in the Indian budget.
