' WELLINGTON, March 4. Selected yesterday by the national executive of the Federation of Labour as that organisation's representative at the intemational trade and emnloyment talks in Geneva, Mr. J. H. Collins, of Wellington, completes the New Zealand delegation to the discussio'ns. He/is expected to leave within the next fortnight. The shortness of time and the necessity of an early departure prevented the federation calling nominations and holding a ballot, as it would have wished. The federation stated that Mr. Collins is one of the best known members of the trade union movement in New Zealand. He has been secretary of the Wellington Eabour Representation Committee for the past 12 years, vice-president of the Wellington Trades Council for two years and an executive member of the council for nine.
