This lovely mermaid is Audrey Totter, M-G-M's latest addition to their roster of glamour starlets. Audrey decided to become an actress at the age of four, but she had to wait nearly fourteen years before she was allowed to join a stock company. She played on the stage and in radio shows for a few years and then, a year ago arrived in Hollywood under contract to M-G-M. After several parts as "the other woman," she plays her first leading role in "The Cockeyed Miracle," which is being hailed as one of the hits of the year.
