WIFE WHO HANDED HUSBAND REVOLVER

LONDON, Feb. 25. The coronet' 's jury at Cardiff, returning a linding of suicide, "severely reprimanded" the 39-year-old Mrs. Adelaidc Cox, for handing lier dying 60-ycar-old husbaiul a revolver with which he sliot hiuiself. The coroner had made it clear that there was novevidence that the woman had lired it or lielped the husband to shoot liimself. Mrs Cox said 111 cvidence that her husband asked her to fulfll a promise to him that slie would hand liim tlie revolver if his sufferings becanie intolerable. She did so, believing her husband had not strengtli enough to use it. Earlier medical evidence stated that the husband 's death was certaiu withiD six weeks.
