CONTINUING BLIZZARD CONDITIONS Received Thursday, 9.15 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 26. The temperature at 10 a.m. today was 41 aegrees, the highest since January 20. Snow on the rooftops is melting under bright sunshine. A blizzard is raging in North England and the Manchester area had from six to eight inches of snow. Snow blocked roads in the district of Dcrbyshire which had the wildest night of the winter. The Greek steamer Zephycos, of 4796 tons, ran ashore in a blizzard at Cullereoats, Northumberland, but rescuers got a lifeline to the ship. The British motorship Royal Ulsterman also ran ashore . in a blizzard at Arran (Scotland). The blizzard brought probably the heaviest snowfall of the winter to the East Yorkshire coast and .visibili'ty was only fifteen yards.
