Waddell) was timed to cover thc last live of six in 1.8 2-5, the last tliree in 41 1-5. A. Midwood has been engaged for •Village Squire at Opaki and W. L. Aitkcn, Avho will be at Hawera, will ride liroilyn, Myway, Theocritus, Blanket and Goody Tavo Shoes. Rink (Andrews) and Gay Boucii (Buchanan) gave a splendid exhibition over six liurdles, both fencing nicely. Mesalliance injured a leg sliglitly when having a roll and will not start at the Masterton meeting.
