Prcparations are in hand for an inter-church conference on "Eaith and Order" to bc held in Wellington in August and organised on the same lines as Ihe conference on life and work kcid in Christchurch iu 1945. Tliis was HiuLOunced by tlie sccretary of the National Couneil of Churclies, Rev. A. A. Brash, when lie addressed the Methodist Conl'erencc in Wellington today. Expert commissions in the main centres were working out christian rclationship to sucli Ihiugs as education, induslry and comniercc, said_ Rev. Brasli, when speaking on Ihe work of his couneil. Tlie leaders of the cliurches were being brought togeilier in their approachcs to tne Governmcnt.
