D. J. FLYNN (FEATHERSTON) NOW LEADS

WELLINGTON, Tuesday. D. J. Flynn (Featherston) took the lead in the Ballinger Belt series of the National Rifie Cnampion..nips, following completion of the Wellington match (500 and 600 yards)at Trentham this mofning. With a score of 98, he gained three points on H. King (Opaki). Top aggregares at this stage are: Flynn 378, King 376. Oondiuions were good, there being only a light wind. One posiible was returned in the Wellington match by F. J. Jeune (Gisborne) . Other leading scores were: C. M. Pickering (Opaki), and J. W. johnson (Featherston), 99; W. A: Kenning (Nelson), F. B. Haycock (Petone) , D. J. Flynn (Featherston), L. Hutchison (Westport), J. I. King (Karori) , D. Seath (Waihi) , J. R. Keeghan .(Westport) and yJ ; B. Searle (Ashhurst) , gg.
