Personal Miss B. Roach, of Dannevirke, spent the weekend a't Shannon where she was the guest of her parents, Mr. ar»d Mrs. J. A. Roach, Stout Street. \ Messrs. S. Chester, R. Parr and T. S. Downes motored through to Napier over the weekend and attended the New Zealand marching championships at Hastings on Saturday.
