NEW YOKK, Peb. 21. A new propess that delivers a com- • pleted photograph out of a camera in one minute, after taking the picture, was anonunced to the Optical Society of America today hy Edv/in Land, discoverer of the polaroid. The proces^ can be adapted to any camera and the picture obtainable is reportefl to be of the same quaiity as obtained by conventional dark room methpds. Ordinary film is used and the key to the process is in a tiny capsule of cheiripals contained in the camera. After the picture is taken the ftlpi rolls on to special photographic paper with the capsule between the fllm and paper. The capsule hreaks spraading the chemicals betr/een filna and paper and producing a complgfe printing process. The invention is said to be adaptable to movie making and colour photpgraphy.
