Trains arnund New Yorv where the snow fall was 11. ti inches. were up to two hours late. Motor cars were eomplftely e.overed with piled up snow and abandoned. A record snow fall of 27 inches was registejed in Yir ginia und parts of I'ennsyl vania were buried under four i'eet of snow.
